Painting
From the beginning I sensed emotions, soul and perceived the energy that is always present and part of every dynamic. Painting allows me to express these mysteries of life - immeasurable, intangible - yet ever-present.
Painting has been both a source of joy and understanding myself and the experiences of my life. My creative process is intuitive and guides me to my inner voice and awareness.
Some of the paintings here are from challenging periods in my life, and some of them show the moments of breakthrough and healing. I hope they inspire and transmit something positive. My own journey with painting has inspired me to work with others who have lost their creative practice and want to rekindle that connection and creative fire again. Your creativity can be your personal connection to source and bring you into full presence.

When we meet our moment, our greatness, our depth, the presence, it may be so intimidating we want to run away. It's a feeling we don't have words for. Art gives us the luxury of not needing words. Passion can be hot and fiery, but it can be a still point, a melting and a union with the expansive limitless love.

I painted this during a moment in my life where the great battle between light and darkness was playing out in my own experience and there was loss and an abyss of grief. Nonetheless the light was ever present and guided me through the storm. This painting is part of a triptych.
I hope you feel that in the storm there is love and presence too.
